Erin is a lifelong Pittsburgher who crossed over the river from the North Hills to the South Hills. A 1993 graduate of North Hills High School, Erin went on to the ICM School of Business where she earned her Associates Degree in Secretarial Sciences. She landed her first position in the AR/AP department for a Masonry Contractor located in the North Hills. After learning every aspect of the business Erin was promoted to Executive Assistant and she also assisted with the Company Safety Program. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Point Park University while attending their Saturday Fast Track program. From this experience she concentrated on descriptive legal writing, contract laws, obtaining evidence, statistics, and cross examination. Fast forward twenty plus years and Erin has spent the majority of her career in the construction and engineering industry where she has reviewed contracts, researched materials, performed site safety, wrote proposals, did accounting, met with clients, and even assisted with laying out a route for a proposed pipeline.
Erin hobbies include vintage shopping with her friends, cooking up new recipes, checking out new technology, listening to live music, taking in the outdoor scenery, and baking. At Christmas time her family bakes close to 100 dozen cookies for friends and family. She will have friends over to help hand decorate all the sugar cookie cut outs. This turns into a whole weekend of friendship and cookie decorating. In addition, you may run into Erin at a local coffee shop where she mentors for an Organization called 3 Cups of Coffee. This organization pairs job-ready individuals in which they meet three times for one-hour conversations. They work together to create a path to achieve career goals and potential jobs. Erin loves to help people and see them succeed and she LOVES coffee too which makes this experience the perfect blend for her!
